■ SRI LANKA, COLOMBO: "Be careful he is a bad man", they kept repeating as I wandered around a vegetable market on the outskirts of Colombo. Then 'the accused' told me that the people who told me to avoid him were bad themselves. Who was I to believe?

Intent on not making a hasty decision I decided to wait it out and see as this was a unique market experience unlike no other.
