Palestinian ambassador to the UN: ‘A map erasing Palestine, sparking no outrage’

“This is the map erasing the nation of Palestine and the Palestinian people.. what outrage did it spark? None.”

The Palestinian UN ambassador, Riyad Mansour, criticised on Wednesday the outrage over the “from the river to the sea” slogan by highlighting the comparative lack of outrage over a map Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu presented at the UN earlier this year that erased Palestine.

During the UN meeting, Mansour also called for a “definitive end” to Israel’s war in Gaza, warning that a truce to release hostages “cannot be just a pause before the massacre starts all over again.”
